Top 4 Non-Negotiable Items When it Comes to Your Health

Checklist

If there’s anything consistent about the Health and Wellness industry it’s that it’s anything BUT consistent.

The amount of information out there regarding health and wellness is simply overwhelming and quite honestly, exhausting.

So, if you are drowning in information and starving for clarity. This will be a welcome email.

1. Mindset

Understanding that you are doing something wrong right now with your health AND that there has to be a change. If you are not willing to change your life by developing new routines and habits… then save your time and stop reading right now. (I say this with love)

There must be an understanding within your heart that you are living a life right now that is making your health worse. There must be change.
Your confidence erodes a little more each day…

You catch your reflection in the mirror. The feeling of energy escaping your body as you climb a flight of stairs. It hurts knowing that you were built for much more but are unable to achieve it due to your health.

You can get it back! But you have to be open to CHANGE.

Checklist

2. Water

Picture water as lubrication for your body. When you are chronically dehydrated, your body can’t move. Metabolism decreases, brain fog increases, energy is non-existent. Sound familiar??

Make sure you are drinking AT LEAST 1/2 of your body weight in oz. every day.
200 lb person = 100 oz in water.

When I experience that “blah” feeling in the afternoon, usually around 2-4 p.m. I gulp 25oz of water to wake up my brain and body.

It has yet to let me down. You should give it a try!

3. Motion

If you are stuck at a desk job, do everything in your power to get up and move once every hour.

Except… I know as humans we have horrible memories; so make it once every 30 min! That way when you forget to get up for 60 min you are still on track. 😉

Walk BRISKLY to the bathroom, water cooler, down the hallway. Walking faster forces your muscles to work and increases circulation. It also delivers new oxygen to your brain.

4. Stay Away From Bad Oils

Bad oils include Vegetable Oil, Sunflower Oil, Canola Oil, Soybean Oil, Peanut Oil, Corn Oil, Cottonseed Oil.

I won’t put you to sleep with the science explaining why.

Basically, these oils go from your digestive tract into your bloodstream and straight into your brain. Once inside the brain, massive amounts of inflammation, brain fog, and hormone imbalances occur.

If you are wondering why there has been a steady unrelenting increase in Depression, Anxiety, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Bi-Polar Disorder, and Mood Swings in our country. Then look no further.

Start reading food labels! You will notice they are in almost every single box, bag, carton, and container of pre-package food out there. Processed food is covered in these oils.

Throw them away!!

I would rather eat a bunch of sugar than consume rancid oils. At least my body knows what to do with sugar. When it comes to inflammation-promoting oils that penetrate your brain… our bodies are utterly defenseless.

This is where we start with every one of my clients. Apply these principles to your life and you will be astonished at the improvements your body will have.
