How to be Healthier in Just 6 Weeks

I must say… We have done a tremendous job at complicating health for the past 50 years.

From weight loss programs, to exercise programs, to medications, to surgeries. The options are endless!

And yet, despite all these options… the majority of Americans are obese, taking 4 or more medications, and scared about their future.

To put it more bluntly: Fat, Sick, and Depressed.

One must ask themselves:

“Why are so many people unsatisfied and frustrated with their health? Despite their best efforts to regain youth and vitality?”

I’ll give you the answer.

Why Weight Loss Programs Fail

Because the majority of these “solutions” have false expectations tied to them!

They have empty promises.

You are expected to exercise for 2 hours a day. Only eat 1600 calories, and drink a shake. PLUS live a life on top of that!

Stop and think about that plan….

Is this sustainable for the next 15-20 years?

If not, then why do it at all?!

No wonder 90% of Americans gain the weight back after being on a weight loss program. It was unsustainable in the first place!

Instead, we should be taking the opposite approach.

How to Be Successful With Your Healthy Lifestyle

I just had lunch with a friend of mine who has been making small incremental changes for the past 5-6 years.

I am very proud of him. (don’t tell him though) He has made small incremental changes to regain his health!

It has NOT been fast or quick.

It takes persistence!

That is the unpopular truth. It’s unpopular because people want to hear that you can have it all. And you can have it right now!

Do you want real advice? Advice that will  ACTUALLY make a difference…

You can get 80% of the benefits in your health in mere months.
The other 20% can take years.

That is why starting with the right expectations (from the beginning) is so crucial.

Johnny Cash sang it best:

I’d get it one piece at a time and it wouldn’t cost me a dime”

Okay maybe he wasn’t singing about health but the same principle applies.

You will have good days and bad days.

A client I spoke with this week was telling me that some days were better than others. She was wondering what she was doing wrong.

I answered, Nothing! You’re doing nothing wrong at all.

Your body is going through the healing process step by step.
The important part is to keep going.

If you want to be consistent with your health and truly live with the benefits for decades to come.

My advice is…

Do ONE thing and one thing ONLY.

This provides focus. When you can focus, you have clarity. When you have clarity you have action. AND when you have the actions you have results.

The healthy habits start to stack onto one another and give you massive results.

Just remember:

“I’d get it one piece at a time and it wouldn’t cost me a dime.
You’ll know it’s me when I come through your town.
I’m gonna ride around in style, I’m gonna drive everybody wild.
‘Cause I’ll have the only one there is a round.

Consistency over time, breeds results.
